Dark Fusion Boutique

Featured in this years fashion show!

Dark FusionDark Fusion Boutique is a collection of original clothing designed by Renee Rathmann, otherwise know as Lucretia, residing in Portland, Oregon. Her style is a delicate fusion of goth, Burningman, bellydance, fetish, Vaudville, and even punk. Her current body of work, Winter 2008 Fetish Collection, puts a feminine twist on the typical fetish aesthetic, inspired by the art of dance and the Goddess. (Portland, OR)

Black Lotus Clothing

Black Lotus Featured in the fashion show!! The Black Lotus clothing line is a collection of unique, hand-sewn pieces inspired by the SF Bay Area belly dance scene. Christina Molcillo, the founder and designer, was introduced to the world of belly dancing in 2002 and was struck by the innovative and unique nature of the costumes, and how they helped to enhance the drama of the dancer’s movements. The end result of Christina’s vast influences and creative spark is a costume that serves a purpose as well as tells a story. (SF Bay Area)

TC LeatherCraft

TC Leathercraft MaskAll of my masks, helmets and other leather designs are sculpted and/or hand sewn from meat industry by-product US leather that is purchased from a local, family-owned business. I only use adhesives when absolutely necessary, and then sparingly. The acrylic paints I use are non-toxic and environmentally friendly. When the leather has scars or blemishes, I incorporate these marks into my creations whenever possible. I waste more time than materials, and even the smallest 'scraps' become useful items - bookmarks, reusable coffee sleeves and embellishments for other projects.

The Arcane Tile

Arcane TileEach of my tile designs are an intermingling of personal and traditional symbols. They are carved, molded, and pressed by hand in a slow traditional tile making fashion. Each design is a limited edition. The tiles are made of a pale stoneware clay body. They are caressed with various stains and left bare or clothed in deep colored glazes. I fire my tiles to a temperature of 2300 F in a reduction atmosphere where the heat and flame embrace and transform the clay causing it to become vitrified and durable.

machineKUNT

MachineKUNTmachineKUNT is a new record label for female noise, electronic, and industrial musicians. Our mission is to encourage women all over the world to create electronic music.

machineKUNT was founded by Rachel (Experiment Haywire) who noticed we were strongly missing the element of independent females in the darker subcultures. She created machineKUNT so she could connect with people: both musicians and listeners: who were ready to bring on some change.

Tombo Studio

Tombo StudioFeatured in this years fashion show! Anaar's traveling boutique, Tombo Studio was established in 1995. At a very early age while living in Japan, a dragonfly, or tombo, flew past my ear. A voice opened itself to me and taught me to sign all my art with a tombo, hence Tombo Studio. In my work as a designer I strive toward two quests. The first quest is for great design, the second, superb craftsmanship. When you visit my booth, look for my hand made exotic costumes and custom designed jewelry. My design and color sensibilities come from a Fine Arts training and years of practice.

Anaar

" I am for an art that is political-erotical-mystical, that does something other than sit on its ass in a museum."

GearHed

In the Late Nineteen Eighties the creative forces who would later become Bonemill D-Signs, began their training.
Immersing themselves in the underground music scene. Industrial, Electro-Industrial, Electronic, E.B.M., Goth, Punk, Dance, Trance...although most of these sub-genres would be identified later.
Observing society, and working in the private sector, built the proper foundation for their design ethics.
Inspired by Machinery, Music, Technology, Bonemill D-Signs/Industrial Streetwear was ready to begin!
In the early Nineteen Nineties, GearHed was ready to un-leash his creation upon an un-suspecting world.
The Logo for the ArtWear studio itself is comprised of a skull flanked on both sides by Sprockets, with a larger gear behind.
The basic design pinciple for Bonemill is "Man's De-humanization through Technology, and Machinery".
Although not all designs are sternly serious. Satire is another powerful tool incorporated by the "lab" as it would later be called. "Slave to the Rhythm" was a series of skeleton figures dancing in various positions. The word, "SLAVE" above them, and "To the Rhythm" below, all in a "bone" style font. This design was printed in a glow in the dark puff ink on black shirts, and was a big hit! Over the years, the quality of the designs and printing have increased, but still reflect the "lab's" irreverent viewpoint on society and man himself.
